Cabana Mobile Entertainment Top 20 by Revenue

Revenues are in US$ and are based on latest annual reports or industry estimates. The range of revenue on this list goes from a low of ~$50mil to a high of ~$550mil. Total revenue for the Top 20 is ~$4bil.

Please let me know if you think I'm missing a company or if you think I might have the order wrong.

  1. Why not Namco... They are huge in Japan (top 3) big in the US (top 5) and big in Europe (top 10) put all those together and I bet they are bigger than EA and Gameloft, but definately need to be on this list

  2. Re: Namco...Agreed (except don't think they are bigger than EA or Gameloft), but I haven't been able to parse their WW mobile data revenue from Namco Bandai Holdings annual reports...they do damndest to bury this data in handheld/network revs...and I've never seen a news/analyst story that speculates on a revenue number.

  3. Maybe not bigger than EA of Gameloft, but mostlikely bigger than Hands On and Glu

  5. @Anonymous...Thanks! Still having a hard time extracting the mobile #s from this...the note on page 3 says that it's rolled into the Games Contents business, but there is nothing to indicate that mobile is a major contributing platform. btw -- totally agree re: Hands-On & am contemplating replacing with Namco in the same spot unless I can get comfortable that they belong higher in the order
